Congress needs to introspect seriously, if it wants to remain the second largest national party and bounce back. in 2014 Congress won only 44 seats and now in 2019 only 51, hence it has been proved that there is a political vacuum and if other political alternative emerges congress will be wiped-out from the national politics for long time. because if we look at the 2004 results BJP won 138 seats and Congress 145, in 2009 BJP won 116 and Congress 206. Since, 1984 when BJP started with 2 seats it never gone below like Congress has in last two General Elections. It shows that people have lost trust in Congress (or may be in present Leadership of INC). As I have already written earlier that Ideologically Congress have been hijacked by the Leftists and look at the results. Second, Congress needs to re-connect with ground and countryside. Third, people have rejected the Parivarvad not only in INC but in other parties as well. Many other factors are also responsible for the consecutive defeat. Anyway
